Henry Winkler is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Fonzie on the 1970s sitcom Happy Days and as the title character on television's The Fonz, which was based on his own life. His film roles include Julius Lester in Airplane! (1980), the title role in The Fonz & Pacey (1984), and Billy Crystal in Mr. Saturday Night (1992)
He has also had notable roles in other films, such as The Nutty Professor (1963), The Wild Bunch (1969), Thief (1981), and Barry Levinson's Liberty Heights (1999).
